At Mauve Beauty Salon, we are dedicated to delivering a refined and reliable home beauty experience across Dubai. As a premium mobile salon, we value professionalism, transparency, and client satisfaction. The following policy outlines the terms related to refunds, cancellations, and adjustments to ensure mutual clarity and fairness.

        1. Refund Policy

Refunds may be granted at the discretion of Mauve Beauty Salon in cases where:

  • The service was not delivered as promised or fell significantly below our quality standards.
  • A formal request is submitted promptly, supported by relevant documentation.
  • The concern qualifies under our Client Satisfaction Guarantee.

Each request is reviewed individually and does not guarantee an automatic refund.

        2. Non-Refundable Services & Products

The following are considered non-refundable:

  • Customized treatments (e.g. bespoke hair colour, skincare routines)
  • Beauty products that have been opened or used
  • Completed services where no complaint is raised within 24 hours

Acceptance of these terms is assumed at the time of booking or purchase.

        3. Refund Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for a refund depends on:

  • The nature and seriousness of the issue
  • Whether it falls under our satisfaction policy
  • The time passed since the service was completed
  • Previous refund or complaint history
  • Valid proof such as photos, transaction receipts, or communication records

        4. Exceptions

In exceptional cases involving medical emergencies or unavoidable circumstances, Mauve may approve a refund or cancellation without penalties, provided appropriate evidence is submitted. Such exceptions remain subject to our discretion.

        5. How to Request a Refund

Clients requesting a refund should:

  • Contact us via email at info@mauvebeautysalon.com
  • Provide the following:
    • Full name and booking reference
    • Date and type of service/product
    • Payment method
    • Reason for the request
    • Supporting documents, if available

Approved refunds are typically processed within 7 business days to the original payment source.

        6. Refund Deductions

Depending on the service issue, refunds may be full or partial, with applicable deductions.

  • Full refunds are issued for verified service faults
  • Partial refunds (up to 50%) may apply for partially unsatisfactory services
  • Advance payments may be refunded after deducting applicable cancellation or service fees

        7. Modes of Refund

Refunds are processed using the original payment method, with any third-party fees beyond our control.

  • Card Payments: Refunded to the original card
  • Cash Payments: Refunded via bank transfer
  • Payment Links: Refunded to the linked account

Note: External bank or gateway fees may apply and are not covered by Mauve Beauty Salon.

        8. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply in the following situations:

  • Only part of the service did not meet expectations
  • The complaint is valid but not fully substantiated
  • Cancellations occurring beyond the allowed window but within compensable terms

    9. Nail Extensions – Service Terms & Adjustment Policy

Our nail extension services are delivered using high-quality materials and techniques. However, performance may vary due to natural nail conditions and aftercare.

  • Nail extensions are semi-permanent and require proper care post-application
  • Damage from water, impact, or chemicals is not covered
  • Refunds are not offered for issues reported after 24 hours unless proven to be due to application errors
  • Concerns must be raised within 24–48 hours with photo evidence
  • A Mauve Care Adjustment (a one-time repair at a discounted rate) may be offered at our discretion, subject to technician availability
  • Follow-up transportation costs apply
  • Adjustments do not apply where misuse or poor aftercare is evident

We provide aftercare guidance and recommend clients follow it closely to preserve results.

        10. Transportation Fees

As a home service provider, transportation is integral to our offering. Please note:

  • Transportation charges apply to all appointments
  • Fees are calculated based on your location and shared during booking
  • These charges are non-refundable, including in case of service-related issues or cancellations

    11. General Terms
  • All refunds are handled solely by Mauve Beauty Salon’s management team
  • Staff and technicians are not authorized to commit to refunds
  • Clients must submit complete and timely requests for processing
  • This policy may be revised occasionally, and updates will be communicated
  • We value client feedback and encourage prompt reporting of any concerns to help us address them professionally
